Potato purée and meat rissoles

 

Ingredients for purée 

 

5 big potatoes
Milk-200 ml 
Butter-2 tbs
Salt
Pepper

 

Ingredients for meet rissoles 

 

Mince meet-300 gr
White bread-2 slices
Milk-3/4 cup
1 onion
1/2 cup of flour
1 egg
Salt
Pepper

 

Directions for purée 

 

Boil clean potatoes for about 30-40 minutes till it is easily poked with a fork. Pour out the water and mash the potatoes thoroughly. Add milk, butter and evenly mash it all together. Add salt and pepper to taste. 

 

Directions for meet rissoles 

 

Cut bread slices in 4-6 squares and pour milk over it. Let the bread soak for 10 minutes. Chop the onion in very small pieces. Add the soaked bread and onion to the minced meat and mash it all together. Add an egg to the minced meet and mix it thoroughly. Add salt and pepper to taste. Take about a palm of the meet mixture and form a round rissole. Cover it in flour and fry it on fiery pan till the rissoles covered with brown crust and the insides are not red . Continue the process till the minced meet mixture is over.
