Ingredients
6 portions of meat with bone
2 tablespoon of corn oil
Salt and pepper
1/2 tsp of origin
1/2 tsp of thyme
1/3 cup of lemon juice
1 kilo of potatoes
6 small cubes of fat
2 bay leaves cut in halves
2 big tomatoes
2 tablespoon of corn oil

Directions
Kleftiko is made of lamb or goat meat from mature animals.
Wash the meat, drain well and place ii in a bowl. Sprinkle lemon juice and oil. Season with salt and other spices, mix well, cover and keep 30 minutes to marinate. Wrap the pieces of meat individually with greased foil. Place them in a pie dish or clay pot, seal it with thin paste and cook the meat in medium heat oven for 3 hours. Meanwhile clean the potatoes and arrange them in an oven dish. Pour corn oil and sprinkle fat cubes. Place the slices of tomatoes on top, dip bay leaves in between the potatoes and season with salt and pepper. One hour before removing the lamb from the oven pt the potatoe dish in the same oven. When cooked, unwrap meat and garnish plates with the meat and potatoes. A variety of vegetables leaves is a good accompaniment as well as tzatziki or sour cream.
