Japanese Style Squid

Ingredients
fresh squid
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup mirin
1 tsp sugar
Cooking oil of your choice
Chilli powder/shichimi togarashi
Directions
1. Take a saucepan and put mirin, sugar, and soy sauce in it. Bring it to the boil over medium heat. Then turn the heat down and let the sauce thicken a bit
2. Clean and wash the squid
3. Marinate the squid in the cooled sauce for about half an hour
4. Fry the squid in a frying pan over medium heat
5. When cooked, cut into rings and serve with shichimi togarashi or chilli powder
