Preparation time: Less than 60 minutes

 

Ingredients:

 

For dough:
200 g butter of room temperature
50 g caster sugar
1 whole egg and 1 yolk
350 g plain flour (hladká mouka)

 

For filling:
2 kg peeled and chopped apple cubes
juice from 1/2 of lemon
125 g caster sugar
1 table spoon of cinnamon
20 g butter
2 cl brandy
100 ml milk

 

 

 

 

Directions:

 

 

Dough:

Mix butter and sugar then add eggs. Then little by little add flour and knead dough with your hands. Cover with cloth and leave for 50 minutes.

 

Filling:

Cut apples put in a pot, add lemon juice, sugar, cinammon and brandy with 100 ml of water.

Cook for 6 minutes, then decant water and add butter.

Warm the oven for 220 °C, put 3/4 of the dough in a form. Put all the apples on it and decorate with the rest of the dough. Rub with milk all over the pie and bake for about 20 minutes, until the pie is golden-brown!
