Draniki - A traditional Belarussian Specialty

 

Ingredients

 

2 carrots
1 onion
1 tbsp of all purpose flour
1 egg
Salt 
Pepper
Vegetable oil

 

 

Directions

 

Peal the vegetables, wash and grate them  into a big bowl. Squeeze out the liquids. Whisk the egg and add to the vegetable mixture. Sprinkle the flour and spices and mix them thoroughly. Heat a pan and add a spoon of vegetable oil. Take a spoon of the vegetable mixture and put it in a pan. Fry on each side for about 3 minutes. Continue till the the mixture is over. Serve it with sour cream.
